This week has been a pretty great week. Despite some stressful moments, I have been able to unwind with friends. Celebrated a few birthdays, went dancing, karaoke involving Gaga, Whitney and Danzig, so much fun!
Not to mention, getting a few things that brought a huge smile to my face!! My bike and a gorgeous vintage feather ring. Now, the bike is wonderful, I ride it everyday. But the ring...this is a truly sad story. I bought the ring from my friend Alma, who is the wonderful lady who puts together Vintage Heaven with my friend Isa. This ring was, yes was, truly fabulous. I put it on and didn't take it off for 2 days. The feather is one of my favorite things and the green stone was absolute perfection. It went with everything! One of those things that makes every outfit interesting. Unfortunately, the ring had a very short life. I put it on my finger the other day, moments later, I look down and sadness struck! The stone was gone! Gulp. I am so upset about this, i didn't even have time to fully bond with ring. Luckily, I was able to get a photo with it.

ReplyDeleteOh no!! So sad!! Few things make me sadder than losing my favorite accessories or clothes - which for some reason is always happening... I'm actually starting to get used to it. : ))
