It official that Chicago weather is Bi Polar. Sunny, cloudy, raining, hot, cold all in one weekend. So my plans had been all over the place and no outfit post were able to be taken:( I wanted to take some today so badly and I left the house without the memory card in my camera. It was such a shame too, I had on my new baby blue cotton 1950's day dress. I was picking up my friend Jenny to get brunch and then onto a BBQ bday and not only was Jenny's cardigan amazing (a complete scene of a foxhunt), the home of the bday girl was truly inspiring! Maybe I can take photos of the house soon, so many great antiques and just an adorable aesthetic all around.
This weekend was full of events. Friday was my friends Emmi and Jason's band, The Ornery Darlings, performing at the EP Theater. Man oh man did they rock it! If you have heard their music check it here. Such a great night which I will be posting about tomorrow in greater detail.
Saturday was just a night of friends, dinner and dancing! I got to see some of my favorite people and I made a lot of great new friends. People I can't wait to hang out with again soon! I was talking to someone about my fashion habits. I make story boards of fashion that catches my eye and create my own outfits and inspirational boards. Whether its new designers, layouts, editorials, vintage and piece it all together. So this fabulous person informed me of a website called Polyvore, it's basically what I do with out the paper and glue. An internet paper doll if you will. So I haven't tried it yet, but I will be sure to let you know as soon as i do!
So where did I find the time to take care of new listings? After the BBQ bday party and a quick cat nap, it was time to get to work. So this is what came out of it.
