Denim Days!!

I have been on a huge denim kick as of lately! I seriously have been scouring the thrift stores for every piece of denim. And I work in a denim shop!! As some of you may know, I work at AG jeans. I know, I know, I never wear jeans right? Well, I do love denim but I have to be in jeans everyday for work so when I'm off and out and about I always side step the denim. But lately, with all my shopping and catching up on my magazine subscriptions, I noticed how much I love the denim being shown this year. AG has some amazing cuts and styles coming out, so I'm stoked for that of course. But, Chloe, A.P.C., Current Elliot and Stella McCartney all have really fantastic pieces being shown!! Can I afford those? Absolutely not. So I take on the local thrift stores and estate sales to find the perfect pieces to achieve these designer looks. Here is one that I found a couple weeks ago that is pretty much a dead ringer for the A.P.C. Madras I love!

I have the hardest time finding denim skirts that look cute on me. This weekend was my lucky thrifting experience! 2 denim skirts that fit like a glove and an awesome vintage denim Levi's jacket. Not only did i find thrift treasures, I went to H&M and actually walked out with a load of cuteness! Including the outfit I wore to my Bonanza Vintage sale today! So for the next few weeks I will be alternating my new found denim with different pieces. Here are a few ideas so far. (Skirts and Jacket are all thrifted along with sweater and white dress)

The ultimate jacket, made entirely from recycled materials, so plush and girly!! The recycled denim puff sleeve blouse, so soft I could wear it everyday. And my new staple, the tiered denim dress. Love, Love, Love, Love!!
