Sun, Sun, Sun...

Chicago was absolutely gorgeous today! 81 degrees and sunny. I got up so excited to put on my new dress and hat, which was perfect for the weather. I have been waiting and waiting to wear this late 50's light blue number. It's my little Zooey Deschanel dress, very similar to the one she wears in 500 days of summer in Ikea. And can we just talk about my new big bow hat! It was just the perfect finish to the outfit. I have been definitely going a little mad with the shopping this season. So many great lines are out there that I have been coming across, either from other bloggers or style.com. Not to mention, Anthropologie, my safety store. The last two days off I've had have been spent in thrift stores or vintage shops. I got an adorable denim skirt at Knee Deep Vintage the other day and this little blue number came from Pilsen Vintage. Buying unnecessary things are definitely my favorite things to buy. Oh, check out the fabric I got the other day for my Etsy back drop.

 James arrived to pick me up at 9:30 and 2 lattes later we set out for a beautiful day off! First stop estate sale. I found so much loveliness for myself and Max & Chloe Vintage. Dresses, skirts and jewelry. So perfect for the upcoming vintage sales!! Look at how gorgeous the netted gloves are!! 

Next stop, Ikea! It is so so easy to get caught up in the vortex of Ikea. But we stayed on track and even managed to take a few pictures along the way.
